She Was Selling Her Farts To Strangers, How She Ended Up In The Hospital Is A Total Gas…

Stephanie Matto, a cast member of 90 Day Fiancé who started selling her own jarred farts in 2021, was reportedly brought to the hospital after suffering acute abdominal pain.

According to reports, the flatulent reality star was admitted to the hospital after feeling intense pressure in her stomach, which led her to assume she was suffering a stroke or a heart attack.

Here’s what Matto said about how her unusual, gassy hustle resulted in a recent hospital visit, “I thought I was having a stroke and that these were my final moments. I was overdoing it.”

The 31-year-old said she used to produce up to 50 jars of her farts per week, which she sold online for $50,000 per week. She used to charge $1,000 for each jar before lowering the price by half around the holidays.

Matto said she noticed “something wasn’t right” in her stomach after drinking three protein drinks and a large bowl of black bean soup in one day, which resulted in uncomfortable gas pressure.

“It was quite hard to breathe and every time I tried to breathe in I’d feel a pinching sensation around my heart, and that, of course, made my anxiety escalate,” Matto said. “I actually called my friend and asked if they could come over to drive me to the hospital because I thought I was experiencing a heart attack.”

When the reality star arrived at the hospital, she informed the physicians about her wind-producing eating habits, who assured her that she was “not experiencing a stroke or heart attack, but really terrible gas pains.”

Matto was advised to adjust her diet and given a gas suppressor, which she claims has “essentially destroyed” her business venture.

Though her clients may not be able to buy fart jars anymore, they can purchase them as digital artworks.

“Fart jars are going digital!” Ms. Matto announced this on Twitter Tuesday while launching her “Fart Jar NFTs”
