According to Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, the Butler County Sheriffs did not use body cameras.

The conservative watchdog group also conducted an investigation into the Secret Service’s security failures and breaches during the attempted assassination of President Trump.

Fitton stated that Judicial Watch filed numerous FOIA requests at state, federal, and local levels.

“The Butler County Sheriff’s Department told us that responding officers and those there did not have body cam footage,” Tom Fitton said.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, who intended to assassinate, managed to ascend to the roof adjacent to Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania rally and target Trump with a scope.

During a Senate briefing, it was disclosed that the Secret Service had deemed Crooks as suspicious 10 minutes prior to Trump’s appearance on stage.

Witnesses observed Thomas Matthew Crooks crawling on the rooftop and promptly alerted law enforcement.

An officer stationed near the building was informed by bystanders about the possible threat.

WATCH:

During his Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, President Trump narrowly escaped a bullet that grazed his ear.

Tragically, one rallygoer was fatally struck in the head, while two others were wounded, one critically.

Despite the harrowing experience, Trump remained defiant and raised his fist as he shouted, “Fight! Fight! Fight!” while being escorted to safety by Secret Service agents.
