Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom has been banned from Wintrust Arena after a courtside confrontation with Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud during Sunday’s game, according to ESPN.
Chicago Sky owner Michael Alter told beat writers Tuesday that Freedom is no longer allowed at the arena following the incident.
“He has demonstrated to us, unequivocally, that he has the potential to be a threat,” Alter said, according to ESPN.
What Happened During the Game
The confrontation occurred in the third quarter of Chicago’s loss to the Indiana Fever, according to the source account. After Cloud scored and the Fever called a timeout, Cloud directed energy toward Freedom, who was seated near the basket.
Freedom then got out of his seat and began moving toward Cloud. Security personnel and Sky players quickly stepped between them, and Freedom was removed by security, ESPN reported.
