I think we all have come to realize that if we want to accomplish anything in the current Presidential state, it is up to states who will take action. Texas has quickly risen as a state that doesn’t take any non-sense, and is there to accomplish goals at hand.
The border crisis has become a constant issue and becoming more dire each day. Ever since Trump’s wall was discontinued, the Biden administration has heavily struggled to get the border under control.
The latest comes from Texas, where they have a plan to get this wall built and keep their citizens and state safe. The best part, they will do so from the hands of Democrats.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) introduced an amendment that would strip the nearly $5.7 billion in earmarks from the House Democrats’ surface transportation bill and use the money to establish a fund in the Treasury dedicated to constructing a border wall.
“Currently, primary, and secondary barriers cover only 771 miles of our nearly 2,000-mile border with Mexico, and the Rio Grande Valley sector — the busiest migrant crossing area — is wide open with only 76 miles of border wall to cover the river. My amendment would strike every single earmark from this legislation and instead authorize a $5.7 billion Border Wall Fund in Treasury to support the completion of a border wall on the U.S.-Mexico border,” he added.
Texas has “a duty as a state, as a sovereign people, to defend ourselves,” Roy said. “The first duty of government — to secure the people” and to “take care of our communities.”
Roy and the state of Texas are not messing around and you have to commend them for that. If we had a Presidential Administration who had even a piece of the assertiveness as Texas, maybe we wouldn’t be struggling so much to get these and so many other issues under control.
