The United States is a very proud and patriotic country. We stand for our Constitution and the freedoms we won to live in a prosperous country. We are defined by a flag, one specific flag that represents an entire population that call themselves American.

In recent times, we have become a very divisive country. Different movements have inspired mass populations to protest for their own causes which has been very unsettling to illustrate a unified country. This has continued to get worse.

Our own President is now allowing Black Lives Matter Flags to be flown at U.S Embassies, the same places where our country’s flag flys to represent our patriotism.

Luckily lawmakers quickly stepped in to fight this disruption and division.

“Several U.S. lawmakers introduced a bill late last week to ban the federal government from being able to fly divisive Black Lives Matter flags at U.S. embassies overseas, which comes after the Biden administration recently issued a directive authorizing the embassies to do just that.”

Political flags have no business being displayed in Embassies or anywhere representing the United States on a global level.

”In supporting Malliotakis’ bill, Stefanik said, “Our beautiful American flag should fly over our U.S. embassies around the world – not the flag of a political organization founded by Marxists.”

This bill must be approved as soon as possible and lawmakers understand that. Americans must have faith restored so that we can be a patriotic and prosperous country and not let unsupported political movements get in the way.
