A Delaware dance instructor has been arrested after authorities accused her of sexually abusing teenage students at the studio where she worked, according to Delaware State Police.

Emily Pryor Albino, 23, of Seaford, was charged with four felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust and one felony count of sexual solicitation of a child using a computer, cellphone or other electronic device, police said.

Authorities said Albino is a dance instructor at X-Treme Dance Studio in Laurel.

## Investigation Began After Allegations Involving Two Teens

Delaware State Police said detectives opened an investigation on Aug. 4 after receiving information that Albino had allegedly sexually abused two teenagers who attended classes at the studio.

“Further investigation revealed that Pryor Albino also exchanged sexually explicit messages with the two victims,” Delaware State Police said in a statement.

Police did not release the ages of the teenagers or additional details about the alleged abuse.

## Police Say More Victims May Exist

Investigators said they have reason to believe there may be additional victims connected to Albino.

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing the investigation with the Delaware Department of Justice.

Anyone with information about the case, or anyone who believes there may be another victim, is asked to contact Detective R. Mitchell at 302-752-3794. Tips may also be submitted to Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333 or by private message through the official Delaware State Police Facebook account.

## Bail Set at $110,000 Cash

Albino was arraigned and committed to the Delaware Department of Correction after bail was set at $110,000 cash, state police said.

Under Delaware law, a conviction for first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum sentence of life. A conviction for sexual solicitation of a child using a computer, cellphone or other electronic device can carry a sentence of up to 25 years.

The charges are allegations, and Albino is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

According to the source report, X-Treme Dance Studio and Delaware state investigators did not immediately respond to a New York Post request for comment.
