Federal Court Drops Huge Decision in Blue State – It Just Had an Instant 2024 Impact

In the aftermath of the 2020 Election, states scrambled to secure their elections. Democrats maintain that nothing went wrong that year. But state governments seem to disagree, making changes to prevent problems with voting.

These changes ensure that an election like 2020 might never happen again. Certain rules have been put into place to prevent the chaos and uncertainty that followed the election.

But Democrats seem unhappy about the changes made in some states. One mostly blue state enforced a rule that requires basic security measures for ballots. Liberals took the issue all the way to federal courts. And now, a judge just decided on this critical issue.

From Just the News:
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit ruled Wednesday that Pennsylvania may enforce state law requiring envelopes for mail-in ballots to be dated and include the voter’s signature…

“Left-wing activists have spent an untold fortune trying to stop Pennsylvania from enforcing its mail ballot safeguards. Today, a federal appellate court definitively rejected their argument.”

The Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals upheld a rule requiring envelopes for mail-in ballots to include the voter’s signature and matching date. The date has to match that of the included ballot.

The NAACP and other liberals fought this rule, claiming it would prevent voters from participating in elections. However, it seems odd that anyone would think a vote cannot properly sign their envelope and include the right date.

This rule does, however, prevent someone from stealing a ballot or forging one. Some suspect that liberals employ coordinated efforts to harvest blank ballots and send them in, en masse. But requiring signatures and matching dates throws a wrench in that scheme.

Pennsylvania is one of several states that was embroiled in controversy during the 2020 Election. Late ballots and those lacking proper security measures were being counted, throwing the integrity of the results into question.

This new ruling from a federal court provides a layer of protection to state elections. Which will also ensure voters that our elections are not being undermined by fraud or incompetence.

Despite this, Democrats still fight basic measures to protect election integrity. I wonder why?

Key Takeaways:

  • A federal judge ruled Pennsylvania mail-in ballot envelopes must be signed and have matching dates.
  • Democrats fought this new rule, along with other election integrity measures.
  • The rule can prevent ballot tampering and ensures the ballot is valid.
