After publishing a phony sob tale about a liberal family who claimed they were forced to “flee” Florida because Republican Governor Ron DeSantis outlawed kid sex-change treatments, CNN received backlash on Twitter.
Seriously, when I fort saw this clip I really thought it was satire, but it wasn’t.
It really was a family from Florida lamenting that DeSantis put the kibosh on mutilating children’s genitalia who happen to be mentally disturbed.
The McKees have two sons and one is confused and thinks that they are a girl.
That means that when DeSantis signed into law a bill that bans sex-change procedures on children.
Under Florida’s Senate Bill 254, minors cannot undergo gender transition measures such as hormone therapy, puberty blockers, or genital mutilation.
The McKees are now being “forced” to leave the state.
“I never thought that I would have to flee a state for the good of my children,” Tiffiney and Kelly McKee told CNN on Wednesday.
“We’re absolutely moving because of the political climate and the laws in Florida,” she said. “We didn’t want to move.”
Tori McKee claimed that shortly after turning 12 when he discovered transgenderism, he began taking hormone blockers.
“I was very relieved when we decided to leave,” he told CNN. “I had never really heard that much about trans people until I was, like, 11 or 12. I didn’t even know trans people existed. I started hormone blockers pretty soon after that.”
Before receiving hormone therapy, Tori’s father claimed that his son was on the verge of suicide; nevertheless, he is now more extroverted.
Laura Campbell of the creepily named Free Mom Hugs Florida said in the clip, “I really think if you were to ask a member of a trans family, they would tell you they go to bed at night dreaming of how to get out of this state.”

Naturally, liberals who fetishize transgender people attacked DeSantis for attempting to safeguard the vulnerable mental and physical well-being of kids.
In the meantime, Twitter users mocked CNN’s fabricated “exposé” that demonized the governor and Florida.
The tweet received over 16,000 reactions as of Friday morning, the majority of which made fun of the liberal network and the McKees, compared to only approximately 2,300 retweets and 3,400 “likes.”

Some users said the story is an excellent marketing campaign for the Sunshine State.
“This clip validates why many parents moved to Florida,” businessman and author Patrick Bet-David tweeted. “Normal parents who don’t want to their child to be prescribed puberty blockers.
“This is a perfect ad for Ron DeSantis.”

Any sane person would find it absurd, much less an entire political party, to scream those impressionable kids should be permitted to endure body mutilation or use “gender-altering” medicines at will.
Most medical and cosmetic procedures, such as getting your ears pierced or having plastic surgery, have age restrictions. Even the most ardent Marxists don’t call these limits oppressive.
So why do they continue to believe that permitting kids to use hormone-altering medicines or have surgeries that leave them permanently scarred is oppressive?
