Her Rules For Marriage Are Going Viral For All The Wrong Reasons….

A couple’s shockingly strict rules for their Christian marriage have ignited a firestorm of controversy on social media, leaving viewers questioning the limits of devotion and trust.

A married woman named Bailey reveals the severe rules she and her husband follow to maintain their Christian marriage. The couple’s stringent guidelines have led to disbelief and skepticism among viewers, who question whether the rules are genuine or effective.

The video, which was shared on TikTok along with the hashtag #ChristianMarriage and a caption that reads, “Rules my husband and I have for our marriage that make people ANGRY,” features the young wife sitting on her bed, explaining the rigid requirements she and her husband adhere to.

The first rule prohibits either spouse from having friends of the opposite sex, while the second rule forbids “work gfs/bfs or being alone with the opposite sex,” ensuring the couple avoids any temptation to cheat.

A third rule in the video states, “No texting the opposite sex without the other knowing.” This rule, among others, reflects the couple’s commitment to avoiding any potential temptations or extramarital encounters. Although some Christian couples may follow the Billy Graham rule, which involves avoiding close relationships with the opposite sex, critics argue that it can inadvertently portray women as fundamentally dangerous and restrict meaningful mentorship or pastoral care between genders.

TikTok users, however, were largely unimpressed by Bailey’s extreme marriage rules, with some accusing the couple of being insecure. Comments like, “Tell me you don’t trust your partner without telling me you don’t trust your partner,” and “Sorry, this is absolutely insane,” flooded the video.

Despite the backlash, some Christians showed support for the couple’s strict guidelines, with one user commenting, “And that, ladies and gentlemen, is respecting your partner.”

Following the surge of negative attention, Bailey decided to disable comments on her video to prevent further criticism. In a follow-up video, she shared additional rules, such as a ban on pornography and a prohibition against lusting after someone of the opposite sex. Defending her Christian marriage, Bailey wrote, “I don’t expect non-Christians to understand Christian marriages.”
