Roger Stone Predicts Michelle Obama Will Be The 2024 Democrat Presidential Nominee

Conservative pundit and operative Roger Stone has recently predicted that Michelle Obama will become the Democratic Party’s nominee for president in 2024.

Although this prediction has been echoed by other voices on the right, Obama has previously denied any interest in running for office.

Her lack of an enthusiastic endorsement of President Joe Biden’s potential bid for a second term is causing some high-level Democrats to doubt his viability as a candidate. Myra Adams, an opinion contributor for The Hill, has argued that if neither Biden nor Harris are chosen, Democrats could turn to the former first lady as their strongest ticket.

While it may be too early to make predictions about who will be at the top of the Democratic ticket in 2024, one thing is clear: Michelle Obama remains a powerful force within the party despite having consistently rejected rumors of her presidential ambitions.

Her popularity among Americans from both sides of the aisle makes her an attractive option if Biden and Harris fail to gain enough support within their own party.

Doug Billings, the popular host of The Right Side on Spreely TV commented: “It’s uncertain whether or not Michelle Obama will run for president in 2024, however, it cannot be denied that she is being seriously considered by some high-level Democrats as a potential contender against Donald Trump should he decide to run again in 2024.”

According to the Daily Caller:

A self-proclaimed “political icon” on the right made a prediction about who will actually become the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, and it’s a name that others have tossed about as well.

During a speech at a Turning Point USA event over the weekend in West Palm Beach, Fla., conservative pundit and operative Roger Stone said he believes that Michelle Obama will actually be atop the Democratic Party’s ticket, not President Joe Biden.

“I predict that Michelle Obama will be the Democrat Party Nominee for President in 2024,” Stone tweeted along with a clip of his speech. “You heard it here first.”

An article on The Hill in March noted:

There has been some recent media buzz, as well as hope, about the possibility that former First Lady Michelle Obama might be persuaded to enter the 2024 presidential race. While that prospect is very unlikely – she has always rebuffed any notion that she might run for office – the enthusiasm is understandable. As the Democratic presidential nominee, or even the vice-presidential nominee, she would give Democrats their best chance at retaining the White House.

As it stands, President Biden’s chances of winning reelection against a credible Republican presidential candidate (which excludes former President Trump) aren’t great.

The majority of voters don’t want the 80-year-old Biden to run again, including a solid majority (57 percent) of Democratic voters. And that majority is likely to grow if voters become even more concerned about the president’s health and ability to perform his duties as president.

Moreover, a number of Biden’s recent moves, such as embracing Trump immigration policies he so often condemned and his efforts to oppose progressives’ defund-the-police initiatives, are alienating the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, where most of the party’s political energy resides.
