She LOVED Showing Everyone Her Tattoo Until One Person Told Her What It Meant…

As someone with no tattoos, I can only imagine the horror some experience when they discover their ink has a hidden meaning. Like this woman in our featured story for today.

Brittany Lewin, from Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia has a tattoo of pineapple inside a triangle on her forearm that appears upside down when her arm is raised. She was in love with the ink before her best friend told her to Google the hidden code she’d unknowingly inked.

As it turns out, upside-down pineapples are apparently a secret sign used by swingers to identify those on the lookout for a swinger party – while a pineapple placed on the porch or mailbox of a house also signifies a swinger party is currently going on inside. Swingers also reportedly identify each other in public by opting for clothes that feature the tangy tropical fruit.

In her viral TikTok video, Lewin expressed her regret at getting the tattoo and urged others not to make the same mistake. She explained that she was chatting with a TikTok follower who asked her about her tattoo, and it was only then that she learned its true meaning.

“I’ve made a mistake, besties,” Brittany wrote as a caption for her video.

In a screenshot of a text conversation, her friend says: “It’s still going to make me giggle, I only just found out what an upside-down pineapple means.”

To which Brittany replied: “Wait what? Googling right now.”

And it wasn’t just her pal who spotted the blunder, some other users did too.

Commenting on the post, one person wrote: “I’ve thought this every video I’ve seen of you. I just thought ‘each to their own’.”

“I always thought you and your partner were just into some extra fun stuff. I’m sad that you didn’t actually know,” another chipped in.

Another user asked: “When did the pineapple start meaning this? I only heard of this a few weeks ago and only because I saw it on TT.”

Another wrote: “I thought pineapples meant hospitality. I worked 10 years at an assisted living facility and everything was pineapples.”
