After revealing they had been in a relationship, beauty pageant queens former Miss Argentina Mariana Varela and Miss Puerto Rico Fabiola Valentín Argentina secretly tied the knot on Friday.

The news stunned their fans, who responded with good wishes on social media when the couple announced to their Instagram followers that they were married on October 28 after a two-year, secret romance, as Page Six confirmed on Wednesday.
On their matching posts, the caption read: “After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day. 28/10/22.”
Their joint Instagram video has received almost 2 million views, in the 30-second video post includes videos and pictures of the couple traveling together as well as their marriage proposal and rings and culminates in showing the pair dressed in white outside the judicial center in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In 2010, Argentina allowed same-sex unions, and five years later, Puerto Rico did the same.
After the announcement, fellow beauty queens flooded the comments with support.
“Thanks for all the love! We are very happy and blessed. I wish you that the love you are giving us is multiplied! Infinite thanks,” Varela wrote.
At the Miss Grand International pageant in 2020, the two met. Fans assumed they were merely close friends despite the fact that their individual social media pages have long featured photos showing them together.
In a report by the Sun, Varela has won a number of titles, including Miss Grand Argentina in 2020 and Miss Universe Argentina in 2019. Landing in the top 10, furthermore, she competed for her nation at Miss Grand International 2020.
Meanwhile, Valentin was appointed as Miss Grand Puerto Rico in 2020.
