President Joe Biden is facing criticism after appearing to fall asleep during a prayer service for victims of the New Orleans New Year’s terror attack. The incident, captured on video, shows Biden with his head bowed and eyes closed for more than two minutes, leading to speculation about whether he nodded off during the solemn ceremony.
Biden and First Lady Jill Biden traveled to New Orleans on Monday to honor the 14 lives lost and 35 injured in a horrifying terrorist attack on Bourbon Street. On New Year’s Eve, 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar drove his vehicle into a crowd of celebrants, leaving devastation in his wake.
The Bidens attended a prayer service at a local church to pay their respects to the victims and offer condolences to grieving families. However, during the service, cameras caught Biden in a moment of stillness that many have interpreted as the president falling asleep.

Conservative commentators and political opponents seized the moment to question Biden’s fitness for office, with some accusing him of disrespecting the solemn occasion. “This is unacceptable,” one critic tweeted. “The President of the United States can’t even stay awake to honor terror victims?”
Supporters of Biden have defended him, arguing that the president was likely in deep reflection or prayer during the moment in question. A White House official declined to comment on the incident directly but emphasized Biden’s commitment to supporting the victims and their families.
The prayer service was meant to unite the community and offer solace to those impacted by the tragedy. However, the incident with Biden has instead fueled further partisan debate over his physical and mental capacity as he prepares for a potential re-election campaign in 2024.
Biden just doesn’t care about the victims.
Joe Biden already faced backlash after posting a tone deaf and heartless message Wednesday morning after a terrorist plowed through a crowd in New Orleans.
“Happy New Year, folks,” Biden said just hours after the terrorist plowed over innocent New Year’s revelers.

Biden had the same heartless attitude last Thursday.
After a press conference on his judicial confirmations last week, Joe Biden addressed the New Orleans terror attack but he was in a rush to get out of there so he could watch the Sugar Bowl.
“The Sugar Bowl is back on. Kick off is going to take off very shortly. If I don’t get this damn thing done we’re gonna be in real trouble,” Biden said as he checked his watch.
