Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like VIMEO is going to support Mike Lindell’s freedom of speech. They join Big Box stores such as Kohl’s, Wayfair, Bed Bath and Beyond, Costco, Sam’s Club, and Kroger have all decided to stop carrying Mike Lindell’s “My Pillow” Products. Now, the “My Pillow” pitchman is finding difficulty on social media as well. He has already been banned on Twitter, and now VIMEO has told him that he is not welcome on their platform either.
Unfortunately, this Christian patriot is probably going to lose as much as $68 million this year alone simply due to the decisions from these big box stores to stop carrying his products. Simply put, he no longer has any freedom of speech because they are trying to punish him for his efforts to expose the election fraud in the 2020 election. I thought we lived in America. Apparently not.
Mike Lindell has been circulating his “Absolute Proof” video regarding his opinions of the 2020 election fraud, and that was removed from Twitter and Google-owned YouTube. Now, VIMEO doesn’t want anything to do with him either. Of course, this all begs the question: why is it that social media bullies can dictate what Americans can and cannot see? Why is it that they have been made the ultimate judge of what is worthy to see and what is not worthy to see? When it comes to the case of Mike Lindell, there are plenty of questions but not too many answers.
Several years ago, Americans flocked to YouTube, and it quickly became their platform to see original content. However, that has now changed. YouTube is simply another area where the Big Tech overlords simply dictate the things that we are allowed to see. If a video doesn’t agree with their liberalism, then chances are the powers that be just might pull it from the air.
One example of this would be the conservative news outlet 100 Percent Fed Up. Just last week, they were permanently suspended from YouTube without a single notification. The reason given by YouTube? 100 Percent Fed Up was guilty of receiving multiple instances where YouTube’s community standards. However, the individuals at 100 Percent Fed Up insist that this simply wasn’t true. Read that again, folks. Apparently, YouTube made it all up.
Of course, the folks at 100 Percent Fed Up appealed this decision, and they asked YouTube to provide just ONE example where they had violated their community standards. What did YouTube do in response? They simply auto-responded, saying that they had made a receive and that their decision would stand.
100 Percent Fed Up has also been permanently banned from such outlets as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest. They have also lost 90% of their traffic on Facebook, and they also recently discovered that they were on Google’s “blacklist”, which means that their sites are famously buried in the search options within Google.
Of course, this leads us back to Mike Lindell, and today he announced that VIMEO was no longer a free-speech platform either, at least not for him. This is because the Daily Beast has just published a report where they note that when users click on pages for the “Lindell Management VIMEO account” they only receive a “sorry, we couldn’t find that page” error message where the MyPillow content used to appear.
“This is even worse than what Twitter did to me and my products!” Lindell said in a brief phone interview last Wednesday. “This affects my business, the Lindell Recovery Network, and the entrepreneurs who I work with.” Lindell also sent The Daily Beast a screenshot of what he said was an email he and his team received from Vimeo on Wednesday at 12:36 p.m. ET, and it reads, “We terminated your account for violating our terms of service. As it stands, your account featured a user who had been banned, and we do not allow accounts to feature banned users. We wish you the best of luck in finding a platform better suited to your needs.” Oh brother.
This has only happened to Mike Lindell because he has distinguished himself as a key Trump financial supporter. If he was a Biden supporter and or even supported a RINO, he wouldn’t be in this predicament.
