Jim Jordan Just Revealed How Long Hunter Biden May Go Away For..

It would seem to anyone paying attention that Hunter Biden is going to be in some hot soup one way or the other. House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) emphasized on Sunday that Hunter Biden is confronting substantial issues related to contempt of Congress proceedings, potentially resulting in a year-long imprisonment.

During an interview with Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures,” the GOP leader discussed the repercussions Biden might encounter for refusing to comply with congressional subpoenas within the context of the corruption-focused impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden.

Jordan stated, “Well, if we pass contempt of Congress out of the committee and then proceed to pass it through the full House, which I believe we can do, then it goes to the Justice Department. It will be the attorney general’s decision whether to pursue charges.”

He continued, “But if charges are pursued, it could entail up to a year of jail time for failing to comply with a deposition or a subpoenaed deposition to be interviewed by Congress. So, this is a matter of considerable gravity.”

Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) declared on Friday that his panel has scheduled a meeting on Wednesday to address a resolution regarding holding Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress. This comes after the first son skipped a scheduled deposition last month and opted for a press event, demanding a public hearing to address what he deemed as “legitimate” questions.

According to the Department of Justice, a charge of contempt of Congress carries a minimum sentence of 30 days in jail, a maximum of one year behind bars, and a fine of up to $100,000.
